It wasn’t really planned, the decision just came out of the blue when after being bored for a couple of hours in our boarding house we decided to go gadding to some other place out there. Cebu has many places to offer, but it should be stressed out that the one we would be going to should be economical, at best free, and adjacent to our place-Taoist Temple was then unanimously chosen. So off we went, with me were my cousin Vem-Vem and boardmate An-An.
Going to the Taoist Temple from our place would require one jeepney ride, and another ride in a motorbike (habal-habal in Cebuano). Approximately, the ride would cost 22 pesos all in all.
Unfortunately, the habal-habal we’re riding on could not go inside Beverly Hills Subdivision. So we need to alight, and walk our way out to the Temple from the entrance. At glance, it seemed near but walking it proved otherwise. But anyway, walking is never a problem for me. I was used to it, in MSU-Marawi alone I would use to walk three kilometers going to our college everyday. We just enjoyed every step, every scene, the cliff, the trees, the uniformed-style houses, while at the same time taking turns posing for the camera.
Finally, we’re here.
It was a nice day. We went home exhausted, sleepy. But for me, I had to go to work by then (at 4:00 o’clock). I couldn’t go to sleep.
